Welcome to the
Krewe of Venus

The Krewe of Venus was founded in 1965 to be part of the Tampa Bay area Gasparilla festivities, inspired by the legend of pirate Jose Gaspar. We are a social organization promoting friendship and forging bonds that last through the years.

The second oldest Krewe in Tampa Bay, today the Krewe continues to actively participate in Gasparilla Festival events and hosts numerous member activities throughout the year.  Venus members gather often to participate in parades, social events and informal activities.    There is always something fun to do with the Krewe of Venus!  If you are interested in joining us at one of our events or would like information about membership in the Krewe, please get in touch with our Krewe office (see our Contact page).
