About Us
Venus is a co-ed social Krewe with an emphasis on friendship and community spirit. Our members hail from throughout the Tampa Bay area. Krewe of Venus royalty is announced each year in January at the Royal Coronation formal gala. King and Queen Venus, along with their Royal Court, reign over the Krewe's Gasparilla Festival parade events and all Krewe activities throughout the year.
The Krewe of Venus has been an integral part of the Gasparilla festivities for six decades. In addition to parades where members don our renaissance costumes and toss the accompanying beads, Venus members know how to dress it up and dress it down to party at Krewe black tie events and member social gatherings.

Krewe of Venus participates in the annual Gasparilla Festival parades, with members dressed in our signature Renaissance costumes.
Royalty
Early each year, a new King and Queen are introduced at a lavish Coronation Ball. The new monarchs reign over Venus throughout the year's events.
